In Class: Review the story "Cranes" and the author's use of symbolism & flashback.
HW: Think back to an important event/moment in your life. Create a symbol for yourself in that moment and explain it in 1-2 paragraphs.
WEDNESDAY
In Class: Review the story "Sound of Thunder" and the author's use of imagery.
HW: Select one metaphor or simile from the story. Describe what it would mean if it were literal instead of figurative in 1-2 paragraphs.
THURSDAY
In Class: COMPUTER LABS for writing final drafts of your TKAM papers.
HW: Finish final drafts if necessary.
FRIDAY
In Class: Illustrate your "Sound of Thunder" metaphor as though it were literal.
